Project Topics with Abstract in Electronics

   1.   Image Compression Using Wavelet Transform And Successive Approximation

The need for compressing digital data in order to save memory and the ease of transmission is being increasing day by day. Wavelet transform and Successive approximation are used in this project to find out an efficient technique to compress a data/signal with the minimum possible loss of information.

    2.   Multipupose UAV

Smaller UAVs, in the order of a couple feet to a meter in size, should be able to handle military tactical operations as well as the emerging commercial and industrial applications. The project aims to create a Quadcopter. The payload of the Quadcopter design includes a camera and telemetry that aims at watching live video from the Quadcopter on a laptop up to 2 miles away.

    3.   Target Tracking Using Interval Analysis In WSN

This project deals with tracking the single target with static sensor with energy conservation manner. Target is estimated by waltz algorithm using this static node. Estimation at any instant of time is done by interval analysis. Energy is conserved by Okumura Hata Model.

    4.   Gps Based Vehicle Tracking And Anti-Theft Security System

The objective of this project is to design a system which is integrated with GPS-GSM to provide Location information, Real time tracking using SMS. Communication is instantaneous therefore a running report is quickly received. Once it is implemented in a vehicle; it is easy to track the vehicle at any point of time.

    5.   Solar Tracking System

A proto type for a microcontroller-based dual –axis multi-function solar tracking system is designed, which will keep the solar panels aligned with the sun in order to maximize the power generation. This system is designed using micro-controller, light sensors, gear system and stepper motors. This tracking system has multi-functions such as cloudy day assist, auto alignment during night time, it works in both manual as well as automatic mode.

    6.   Design And Simulation Of LDPC Decoder

LDPC codes have lower complexity in the decoding process compared to other FEC codes. This project explores the feasibility of implementing the design of a LDPC system on a field programmable gate array (FPGA). The Xilinx System Generator block set is used in conjunction with MATLAB and Simulink for FPGA co-simulation.
