Workflow is an IT technology which uses electronic
systems to manage and monitor business Processes. It is a set of programs that
aids in the tracking and management of all the activities in a project from
start to finish. Workflow is, the procedural steps, the people involved, the
required input and output, and the tools needed, for each step in a business
process.
Workflow helps you automate a range of business
tasks, and electronically route the right information to the right people at
the right time. Users are notified of pending work, and help managers route
approvals through the system quickly.
